So...It's a new year. And I took a break, to get pissed mainly and end up as the human version of the game Buckaroo, with a chair, footrest, christmas tree and a HUMAN MAN all balanced on me whilst I was asleep. Then, and I write this through gritted teeth and with a look of venomous contempt and disgust upon my face, they proceeded to slap my forehead with testicles and peni, finally smearing my face with salsa and "Simba"-ing me. So this is Christmas, and what have you done??? Well this week, within the kitchen, we've kept our themes of conversation topical, at least semi topical. And, funnily enough, whilst your at home, spending the day with the family, or out at a place, eating an overpriced meal with overpriced wine wearing an overpriced Christmas jumper with a fluffy nose on Rudolph, just remember, we're the poor bastards cooking your food. So, I have decided to condense all the nonsensical ramblings which seem to occur when I'm at work into a single, weekly post, which, since I work in a kitchen, I thought it would be nice to call it Hot Topic.

Working in an environment straight out of one of Dante's circles of hell, it's a good idea to either have a warped sense of humor involving the word c*nt, self deprecation and calling Phill a sex pest, or to smoke copious amounts of cigarettes and slowly turn your lungs into dehydrated figs,  or perhaps both.
